Sam & Gussie
move to River St.
1896
earlier story River Street was the eastern-most street of the original city. Starting from King St. and heaing north to Gerrard St. and the bottom of Riverdale Park, River Street was the smelly, industrial corner of Cabbage Town. Just south was one of three local breweries, and a little north was a soap boiling factory.

Here also, Sam and Gussie's last two children are born: Mabel Irene on June 23rd, 1898, and Norman S. on February 15th, 1899. The families remained on River Street until 1900.
