Daughter Ethel (25) and her husband Earnest Tregaskes (31) a bookeeper were recorded there (though they lived at 206 Pearson). All were Baptist except the Tregaskes who were Anglican.[138] Samuel and Augusta travelled overseas in 1914, returning aboard the Kaiser Wilhelm II, departing Southampton 20 May, arriving New York 26 May 1914.[139] On 2 Oct 1919, Augusta and Samuel crossed into the U.S. at Buffalo, and completed information cards, describing thier last visit was in 1912, now visiting a friend in Los Angeles for 6 months, she was 5ft 4in tall, with fair complexion, brown hair and blue eyes, and he was 5ft 11in, hair light grey with grey eyes.[140] On 26 Feb 1923, Augusta legally entered the U.S. for permanent residence at Port Huron.[141] She and Harold William Marchment appeared on the census of 1930 at Santa Monica, Los Angeles Co., California, United States of America; where Augusta (63), described as an alien to the US, and Harold W (37), a real estate salesman, divorced, and also an alien, was present.[142] In 1945, Augusta Alice Judd lived at 303 - 12th St., Santa Monica, Los Angeles Co., California, United States of America.[143] On 27 Apr 1945 Augusta was described while crossing into the U.S. at Niagara Falls as: nationality British, 5ft 2in, 145 lbs., hair grey, eyes blue.[141] Between 1947 and 1961, Augusta Alice Judd lived at 26 Humber Trail, Humber Crest, Toronto, York Co., Ontario, Canada.[144] Samuel William MARCHMENT[145],[146] was born on 14 Mar 1849 at Hammersmith, London, Co. He transferred to the Somerset Lodge in 1894.[178],[179] He was the owner/operator of the 'odorless excavation' business, but expanded into manure, compost and ash transport and eventually landscaping between 1893 and 1906 at S.W. Marchment & Co., 103 Victoria St. and 910 Yonge St. (up to 1901), Toronto, York Co., Ontario, Canada.[106] In 1898 S.W. Marchment purchased the steam barge Gordon Jerry.
